What is counted
The state figures
Three rolls matter here. The roll before the revision () is the list when the revision began. The draft roll is the list published once the enumeration forms were collected, and it leaves off anyone whose form did not come back. The final roll is the draft after the names added and deleted on claims and objections. The roll before, the forms collected and the three reasons are from the press note of 16 December 2025 by the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), who keeps the state's rolls. It gives the reasons only in lakh (one lakh is 100,000), rounded. The draft roll, the names added and deleted after it and the final roll, by sex, are from the CEO's fact sheet of 21 February 2026. All of them cover the 199 constituencies revised together. Anta was revised later, after its bye-election of November 2025, and is outside them. The names left off the draft, , are the roll before less the draft roll. No document prints that number. The three rounded reasons add up to lakh.
Why the change in the roll below the state
The CEO has published no table of the names left off by assembly constituency (AC) or district. The only primary source below the state is the lists of individual electors, which this site does not open. So the constituency and district pages compare two published rolls of general electors. One is the roll the 2023 assembly election was held on, from the Election Commission's statistical report (AC-wise number of electors). The other is the final SIR roll of 12 March 2026, from the CEO's district and constituency table. General electors are everyone on the roll except service voters, who are left out of both because they cluster in a few districts and would distort the change there. The change takes in more than two years of new voters, deaths and moves as well as the revision, so it is never called the removals. For the state it is a fall of , against left off the draft.
Women
The 2026 table counts 565 third-gender electors among women, statewide, with no split by constituency. To compare like with like, the 2023 third-gender electors are added to women too. No split by sex of the names left off the draft has been published for the state. Sirohi's District Election Officer gave the roll before and the draft by sex, and Amar Ujala printed both on 17 December 2025. Each adds up to the district's total, and the names left off by sex are the difference between them.
The 2023 result
Winner, runner-up and winning margin (the winner's votes less the runner-up's) for every seat are from the Election Commission's statistical report for the 2023 election, including Karanpur, whose poll was held in January 2024. Seats that changed hands at later bye-elections, Anta among them, are not reflected.
Checks
The site is not built unless every check passes. Every table must have each of the 200 constituencies once. The 2023 general electors must add up to the Election Commission's total, and the 2026 constituencies to the fact sheet's final roll. The draft plus additions less deletions must equal the final roll. Every margin must equal the winner's votes less the runner-up's.
Names left off, as the press printed them
Where the figures come from
On 16 December 2025, the day the draft was published, each District Election Officer briefed parties and reporters with the district's roll on 27 October 2025, the enumeration forms received, the forms not received (the names left off) and their five reasons: dead, shifted for good, absent, enrolled at more than one place and other. Dainik Bhaskar's district editions printed these as tables, most with a row for each constituency, and Amar Ujala printed Bundi's and Sirohi's. The officers' own sheets were not found, and the CEO's site carries no such table. So the figures are press figures. They cover 22 of the 41 districts, of the names left off in the state, and 110 of the 199 constituencies. The rest of the districts were not found in either paper. Every row carries its source address in the download.
Checks
In every district, the roll before less the names left off equals the draft, and the five reasons add up to the names left off, with four exceptions in the printed district rows. Kota's printed roll before and draft are each off by a round amount from the sum of its constituencies, which agree with each other. The reasons in Alwar, Ajmer and Jaisalmer miss the total by 20, 54 and 30. Where a district printed a row for each constituency, the rows add up to the district row in every column, except in Alwar, Ajmer, Pali, Jaisalmer and Kota, by the amounts listed in the build. 99 of the 110 constituency rows add up within themselves. The rest are kept as printed and flagged in the download. In Jhunjhunu four rows are each off by a round thousand that cancels across the district. Kota South's printed roll before repeats Kota North's, and is replaced by its draft plus its names left off. Ganganagar's printed table swaps the names left off and the draft, and its own text puts them right. The site is not built if any new disagreement appears. Across the 22 districts and the constituencies, the names left off rank places much as the change in the roll from 2023 to 2026 does, which the overview shows.
What is left out
Two papers reported an exact split of the state's reasons, and they disagree with each other and with the CEO's rounded figures, so the state reasons stay the CEO's. Counts of electors with no mapping to the 2002 roll were printed for Jaipur's and Jodhpur's constituencies only, and are in the download.
Against the district
Some districts' rolls shrank far more than others, and the parties did not win evenly across districts. A party that won many seats in a district whose roll fell a lot would then show a large fall in its seats, and the cause would be the district. So each seat's change per 100 electors is also set against its own district's, and those differences are averaged over each party's seats.
What these tables cannot show
- How many names were left off in the 19 districts and 89 constituencies the press did not print, and the CEO's own count anywhere below the state.
- How many of those left off were put back.
- Whether each removal was right, or how anyone missing from the roll would have voted.

Analysis of the named lists
This site publishes counts only, never a name. For analysis that looks at named voters, see the Sabar Institute.
