Why these four places
Each of these places stands out in its own state's figures. Kichha lost the largest share of its roll of any constituency in Uttarakhand, and Tughlakabad the largest in Delhi. Danilimda is the one Ahmedabad seat whose roll shrank again after the draft. Murshidabad and Malda had the most names sent for adjudication in West Bengal. A figure alone cannot say why. So for each place this page sets out its figures from the site's own tables, then what the official records say, what was reported, what officials and parties said, and what we looked for and could not find. Every item was found by one researcher and opened again by a second, and only what the second confirmed is here. The states measure different things, so the places are never compared with each other.
