The revision's figures on this page are the tables of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), who keeps Gujarat's rolls for the Election Commission, as they were published in the press. The CEO's own website carries none of them. Sources and method says where each one comes from.
Find a constituency or district
An assembly constituency is the area that elects one member of the state assembly, and Gujarat has 182 of them in 33 districts. Type a constituency's name or number, or a district, and its figures appear below with a link you can send. The map is drawn by district, because the boundary map available has no separate shapes for the city seats of Ahmedabad and Surat. Picking a constituency outlines its district.
Each district is shaded by the names left off its draft roll for every 100 electors on its roll before the revision. Tap a district for its figures. District boundaries drawn from DataMeet's assembly constituency map (CC BY 2.5 India), simplified, with each constituency placed in its district.
The roll, step by step
The roll before the revision is the list of electors when the revision began, the roll as of 1 October 2025. Every elector on it was given an enumeration form, a short form to fill in and hand back to the booth level officer, the official who looks after the roll for one polling booth. The draft roll of 19 December 2025 is the list published once the forms were collected, and a name whose form did not come back was left off it, with one of five reasons entered against it. After the draft, electors could ask to be added or object to names on it, and the final roll of 17 February 2026 is the draft once those were decided. The bars start above zero so that the changes can be seen.
Gujarat's dates, as they were set and as they were moved, are drawn beside every other state's on How the revision was run.
Per 100 electors, by district
Each dot is one constituency's names left off, for every 100 electors on its roll before the revision. Counting per 100 electors puts large and small constituencies on one scale, so a rate of 25 means one elector in four was left off. The constituencies are grouped by district, with the district that lost the most at the top. Ahmedabad and Surat are in red. Hover or tap a dot for its name.
The reasons
Every name left off carries one of five reasons. The elector had died, could not be traced or was absent, had shifted for good, was already enrolled at another place, or the form was not collected for some other reason. The first chart counts each reason for the state, in lakh (one lakh is 100,000). The second gives each district's split, as a share of its own names left off, with the districts in the same order as above. A reason is what the officer wrote down, and nobody checked it.
Ahmedabad and Surat
Ahmedabad and Surat districts hold the state's two largest cities. Here their constituencies are set against the other 31 districts.
Every constituency in the two districts, by the names left off for every 100 electors. The upright line marks the rate for the state as a whole.

After the draft
After the draft, an elector asks to be added with Form 6, and an objection to a name already on the roll is made with Form 7. The CEO's table of the final roll gives, for each district, the names added and the names deleted between the draft and the final roll, here counted for every 100 electors on the district's draft. It prints Vav-Tharad, a district formed from part of Banaskantha, on its own line, and here it is counted with Banaskantha, as in the tables of the draft.
Each line is a district. Its left end is the names left off the draft for every 100 electors on the roll before the revision. Its right end is the fall that still remains on the final roll. The flatter the line, the less was made up. Ahmedabad and Surat are in red. Hover or tap a line for its district.
Ahmedabad, seat by seat after the draft
The final roll was published by district, and for Ahmedabad's 21 constituencies the names added and deleted after the draft were printed by Gujarat Samachar on 17 February 2026. They add up exactly to the CEO's Ahmedabad row. Each dot is a constituency. Its place across is the names left off its draft for every 100 on its roll before the revision, and its height the names deleted after the draft for every 100 on its draft.
