RTI replies

This page is in English only. Every item quotes the report it comes from and links to it.

Why this is a list of reported applications

No authority publishes how many applications under the Right to Information Act have been filed about the revision, in any state or district. The Central Information Commission's yearly returns give each public authority's total number of applications with no split by subject, and the Chief Electoral Officers publish nothing on it. So this page lists the applications whose reply, refusal or appeal someone published or a newspaper reported. Others have been filed and not made public, and the page will grow as their replies are published.

    What the applications got back

Each application on this page, by what the Commission, the Chief Electoral Officer or the ministry did with it.

    How long the replies took

Days from the application to the reply, for the applications where both dates were reported. Section 7(1) of the Act gives the public information officer 30 days.

    Every application

What was asked, what came back, and the report it comes from. An applicant is named only where an organisation filed it. Otherwise the page gives the applicant's role.

    Send us an RTI reply

If you filed an application about the revision and have the reply, or the refusal, please send it to us with the date you filed it. We publish what was asked and what came back, and we name the applicant only if they ask us to.

    What we could not confirm

Reports a second reading could not match to their source. They are left off the page above.
