Delhi 2026

Figures as of 31 August 2026, when the draft roll was published. The final roll is due on 4 December 2026.

Overview

This page is in English only for now. Every figure on it comes from the Election Commission or the Chief Electoral Officer, and where it reached us through the press, the page says so.

    Find a constituency or district

An assembly constituency is the area that elects one member of the Delhi assembly, and Delhi has 70. Type a constituency's name or number, or a district, and its figures appear below with a link you can send.

Each constituency is shaded by the names left off its draft roll for every 100 electors on its roll before the revision. Tap a constituency for its figures. Boundaries drawn from DataMeet's assembly constituency map (CC BY 2.5 India), simplified.

    The roll, step by step

The roll before the revision is the list of electors when the revision began, here the roll of 16 June 2026. The draft roll of 31 August 2026 is the list published once the enumeration forms were collected, and a name whose form did not come back was left off it. Electors can now ask to be added, or object to names, until 30 October 2026, and only then comes the final roll. The bars start above zero so that the changes can be seen.

Delhi's dates, as they were set and as they were moved, are drawn beside every other state's on How the revision was run.

    The reasons

Each name left off the draft carries one of three reasons. The reasons were published for Delhi as a whole, and the chart counts them in lakh (one lakh is 100,000). A reason is what the officer wrote down, and nobody checked it.

    Per 100 electors, by district

Each dot is one constituency's names left off, for every 100 electors on its roll before the revision. Counting per 100 electors puts large and small constituencies on one scale, so a rate of 40 means two electors in five were left off. The constituencies are grouped by Delhi's 13 districts, as the Chief Electoral Officer's table groups them. The figures are from the table of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), who keeps Delhi's rolls for the Election Commission. Hover or tap a dot for its name.

    Women

Names left off for every 100 men and every 100 women on the roll before the revision. The split by sex was published for Delhi as a whole only.

    Against the 2025 margins

The winning margin is the winner's votes less the runner-up's. Each dot is a constituency. Its place across is the margin its 2025 winner won by, and its height is the names left off its draft roll. Above the dashed line, more names were left off than the margin. The election came before the revision, so this measures how large the removals are against the votes that decide a seat. Nobody can know how anyone left off would have voted.
