What is counted
The state figures
The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) keeps Delhi's electoral rolls for the Election Commission. The roll before the revision () is the roll of 16 June 2026, the names the booth level officers set out to visit. The draft roll of 31 August 2026 () is the list published once the enumeration forms were collected. The draft by sex, the names left off and their three reasons are from the CEO's press note of 31 August 2026. The roll before, split by sex, is not in that note. It comes from the same day's statement as quoted by Hindustan Times, and it adds up to one fewer than the total, so it is used as published.
The constituency figures
Every elector on the roll was to fill in an enumeration form, and a name whose form was not collected was left off the draft. The CEO published a table of the draft by district and assembly constituency (AC), giving the draft roll by sex and the enumeration forms not collected. The names left off are those forms, and the roll before is the draft plus them. The site is not built unless the 70 constituencies add up exactly to the table's district sums and to the state's roll before, draft and names left off, and they do. The same table, as published in the data behind Business Standard's map, agrees with it in every row.
Districts
The districts are the 13 that the CEO's table uses, the districts Delhi has now. The 2025 roll used 11.
The 2025 result
Winner, runner-up and winning margin (the winner's votes less the runner-up's) for every seat come from the Election Commission's results of the February 2025 election, and the electors at that poll from the Chief Electoral Officer's turnout table. Margins are computed from the votes themselves. Two published compilations print New Delhi's margin as 4,199 and Patparganj's as 28,702, and the votes give 4,089 and 28,072.
After the draft
After the draft, an elector asks to be added with Form 6, and an objection to a name already on the roll is made with Form 7. Some electors left on the draft are also sent a notice to prove their entry. The Form 6 and Form 7 counts and the notices are as reported in the press, quoting the CEO. Claims and objections run to 30 October 2026.
What these tables cannot show
- The reasons, or the split by sex, in each constituency or district. These were published for Delhi as a whole only. A count of the reasons by constituency exists, made by others from the lists of named electors, and it is not used here.
- How many of those left off will be put back. There is no final roll yet.
- Whether each removal was right, or how anyone left off would have voted.

Analysis of the named lists
This site publishes counts only, never a name. For analysis that looks at named voters in Delhi, see the Sabar Institute's report on the Delhi revision.
